In October 2016, Jon started Hanoi Nerd Night with Tyler Cazole. Every 2 weeks a theme is chosen and participants give 5-15 minute planned presentations related, however loosely, to that theme. Past presentations have included songs, poems, guided meditations, TED-style presentations, drawings, photographs, and more. Hanoi Nerd Night ended in Summer 2017, but its essence has been incorporated into the Hanoi Philosophy Forum.
