In order to assess your readiness for the role, please complete the following mock-assignment. It should take less than 1 hour to complete. If you have any questions, please send them to jon@realtalkphilosophy.org.

Creating an Infographic

For this mock-assignment, you will be creating an Infographic providing definitions of several keywords related to our organization.

  1. Find definitions for the following keywords (be sure to take note of where the definitions come from):

    1. Political Polarization

    2. Intellectual Empathy

    3. Intellectual Humility

    4. Confirmation Bias

  2. Create an Infographic of these keywords. This can be done using Canva, PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Photoshop, Google Slides, etc.

  3. Format all keywords in bold

  4. Format all definitions in italics

  5. Cite the source of each definition.

    1. Do not include a URL (e.g. https://www.pewresearch.org/topics/political-polarization/)

    2. Do include the article name and organization name (e.g. “Political Polarization”, Pew Research Center)

    3. Wrap the article name in “quotation marks”

    4. Italicize the organization name

  6. Include a related photo next to each keyword definition

  7. Include the Real Talk Philosophy Logo somewhere on the Infographic

  8. Email the completed Infographic to jon@realtalkphilosophy.org
